‘Fast Fill CNG Dispensers with an Emphasis on Class 8 Trucks’
Stirk Compressed Natural Gas has opened a new two-dispenser, fast-fill CNG station designed for Class 8 trucks at the Sapp Bros. Travel Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Black Hills Energy supplies the natural gas.
Combined with existing CNG stations at Lincoln and Columbus in Nebraska, and a fourth near completion in Commerce City, Colo., the Council Bluffs facility represents the two firms’ “continuing commitment to build a CNG infrastructure,” states a release.
As at Stirk’s other outlets, the, the CNG dispensers at Council Bluffs “are in line with the diesel fuel islands to allow for easy fill access for tractor/trailers,” says Stirk CNG manager Mike Hoelscher.
